fantastic spot!
large room clean room friendly staff early check in
the room was large! it was very clean. the staff was friendly. i got an early check in! the location is great. mrs b gave me a local dinner recommendation! the food was excellent!
the stairs was a bit of a climb to the room.

cigarette smoke little heater
the location worked. a tesco was nearby and i used it for breakfast food.
i was in the annex, and the bedding reeked of cigarette smoke. it was also very cold. the heater did not warm the annex so i slept in clothes and my jacket.

the location offered easy access to the town centre and the eden court theatre it overlooked the st andrews cathedral and the river ness the street food options nearby were diverse

totally brill stay!
helpful host central location private entrance
i was in the cottage annex, great! i had my own entrance through its 3 big windows. fiona, the host, is also very helpful, such a great location just on the river and near the town centre! the annex included a fridge, microwave, tv, wifi, and a shower!
the building did smell like smoke sometimes.

a perfect getaway
great location knowledgeable host
I found the location to be quite fantastic. It was completely walkable to the city center. the tour group picks up is just across the street, made my mornings easier. fiona, the host, was very knowledgeable with local recommendations, proving invaluable .
I stayed in the annex, a very small space attached to the outside of the building. the wi-fi was super spotty. I had difficulty getting a reliable connection. the bell-ringing practice at the church across the road every thursday night was quite noticeable.

The host was amazing!!! she offered excellent local recommendations. check-in was smooth. The staff seemed genuinely helpful in providing directions and tips for exploring the area.
